Ok, so maybe I haven't updated every week, but I'm getting the closer together! First of all I would like to thank Mrs. Shanna Ross for letting me have the experience of photographing her wedding, Saturday October 9. She was such a beautiful, and very easy going bride. We also did bridal shots here in the studio and a little black book session for Mr. Ross. Needless to say he liked the gift. So, any brides out there looking for something spicy, yet tasteful for your groom a little black book session might be just what you are looking for.

I am now in my studio most weekends and would love to show it off! My number is (580)504-4014 and the address is 9 1/2 west main. The door is tucked right between Find Design and Ardmore Photo Copy.

So much to do

EEEKKK! UK Debbie made me a list and I am determined to follow it. Thank you, Deb! I will be looking forward to checking things off. The studio is coming along, got the floor up and getting paint on the walls. Waiting for the AC, man, its hot up there right now. Don't think anyone has occupied my floor since the 80's so there is about 20yrs of dusting and mopping to do. Luckily my latest work has been on location. Totally enjoyed the photo shoot with Shanna and Scott, also had a great newborn session with baby Livi.

So, everyone keep me in your prayers! I am looking forward to bringing downtown Ardmore some extra energy, social art experiments, and not to mention great photography!

Ciao,
Sadie

Coming Soon!

9C West Main Street Ardmore, Ok, my own studio! Finally a place to photograph indoors, with tall ceilings and, windows that overlook Main Street offering gorgeous natural light. Cannot wait to paint and turn it into a blank canvas and create spaces for portraits, family to dress up to artistic. Not only that, I will have a work room for creating my glass crosses, one of a kind jewelry, and whimsical pieces of art.
Also, I am so excited to be a part of the growing arts district in Ardmore. I will be above Summer, who restores furniture and has such a cool, funky style. Dondi, opening her vintage clothing store, is a blast! And Traci and Susan at Studio 107 who are a couple of cool chicks that always have some kind of great exhibit going on. I'm looking forward to mixing with these ladies and meeting new friends. Its awesome to have a group to draw inspiration and energy from.

Look for me to be moving in September! My aunt Brenda told me this morning on the phone this is a new chapter I'm writing in my book. Looking forward to see how the story unfolds.

So the kids are gone and its just me and the dogs. Nothing better on a Friday afternoon! Last weekend was dance recital and it has taken all week to rest, time to clean up from the mayhem. Took some great photos of the girls, Lydia fought me every step of the way and Bijoux wasn't too hip on it either. Where are my little girls who were always willing to pose? Last week Lydia turned 13 and B is now 7, starting to have a little empty nest syndrome. Working on a couple of new additions to the house, sort of a rescue situation on all ends. Nothing is confirmed but they are still with me and hopefully will remain so. Photos will follow when I know its a done deal.
Speaking of photos, I hope to be in a small studio by August selling my art. Be on the look out for that! For now, I am running a summer special to capture all those summer memories at a bargain price that is do-able in the economy. Two hours for $150. This includes as many people (grab the family!), color and black and white, some skin touch up, and your disk with 50 to 100 or more photos with a copyright release. Give me a call for more details (580) 504-4014, hit me up on facebook, or email me @ sadiebellaphotos@sbcglobal.net

Let the Lord be the light at your feet. He is showing me and transforming me little bits at a time. In a few months, if it is God's will, my art will have a new home. I've been looking at a building and praying about it and I think its going to work out just fine.
